Run this on every chamber supplier on your shortlist — including us. A supplier that cannot produce all of these on request is the real risk, regardless of price or brand age.

1. Current ISO 13485 certificate With scope of certification and the most recent audit date — not just a logo.

2. Technical specification + bill of safety-relief valves Written chamber spec and the documented pressure-relief architecture.

3. Air-pressurized cabin (not oxygen-flooded) Every fatal chamber fire on record occurred in an oxygen-enriched, high-pressure environment.

4. Manufacturer-direct, not a used-equipment reseller Who actually builds it, and who is accountable for parts over the unit’s life.

5. Written parts-and-service commitment Warranty term, spare-parts availability window and service-response SLA in writing.

6. Honest regulatory scope A veterinary supplier should NOT claim human ASME PVHO-1 or FDA 510(k) clearance.
